We launched and operated Ireland's first dockless electric bike scheme in early 2020 and evolved to become a provider of managed fleets to leading European and US corporates, Hotels, Food & Grocery delivery businesses, & major logistics companies. Recently, in AUG 2023, we acquired MECHS in the Netherlands, increasing our presence significantly catering to the mobility requirements of different restaurants across the country.

We manage corporate e-bike and e-cargo bike fleets for major logistics companies, e.g. DHL, Amazon etc, and for food and quick commerce companies like Dominos, Gorillas, Getir, Flink and Just Eat Takeaway. We also provide and manage e-bike fleets for corporate campuses, business parks, hospitals etc and hotel brands like Hilton and Aloft. To integrate our vehicles seamlessly into cities and customers’ sites, we also offer charging and parking solutions.

MOBY has exciting and ambitious growth plans and lots of projects in development that will give it significant defensibility in this industry and will help move the world towards net zero.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Administrator to join our team at MOBY. As an Account Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing customer accounts, ensuring billing accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of our bike-sharing system, which is vital to our mission of promoting sustainable urban transportation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Account Management:

  • Maintain accurate customer account records, including contact information, billing details, and usage history.
  • Assist customers with account-related inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on using our fleet management and reporting platform.

Billing and Invoicing:

  • Generate and send invoices to individual customers, corporate clients, and partners.
  • Verify billing accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and process payments in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accounts receivable are managed effectively.

Customer Support:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, messages and chat in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Address customer concerns, troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate complex problems to the appropriate department.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to customer accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions and transactions.

You Are / Have:

  • An appetite for the business, tech and mobility sectors
  • Available to work 40 hours per week
  • Startup/scaling experience as well as large multinational exposure
  • Experience in project management within the Telecoms, CRM, Manufacturing, Mobility or equivalent industries
  • Residence & eligibility to work in the Netherlands; this is a hybrid position.
  • Available to work primarily from the office located in the Utrecht Area, with the possibility of working from home for one day per week if required.
  • Able to start immediately
  • Excellent communication and team management skills (English and Dutch fluently)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive customer information with confidentiality
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience in account administration, customer service, or a related role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with billing software, fleet management and customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a big plus
